Kristen & Jody

Kristen and Joseph booked The Marquardt Ranch with just over a year to plan their April 14, 2012 wedding. Fortunately, Kristen and her mother were very organized and did most of the planning within months of booking their date. And it turned out to be a good thing! As her wedding date approached Kristen became swamped at work – going to Ireland, hosting conferences – and had to put wedding plans on slow down mode. But as the date approached things started coming together. She, Joseph, family and friends decorated everything themselves in black, white and red. Her cousin, Carol, made all of her floral arrangements including her very beautiful and unique bridal bouquet. Prior to the ceremony Kristen and Joseph choose to do a first look. We cleared the facility so they could have a private moment, with of course Team Exclusive capturing it all!. A harpist played as the bride made her way down the aisle. After the ceremony, an acoustic guitar mused as guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers while the bridal party took their formal portraits. Guests were then welcomed into the facility for dinner where they were entertained by the Groove Knight band. A seated dinner consisted of a baby spinach salad, Feta basil mashed potatoes, sautéed veggies and stuffed chicken breast which was served by Heavenly Gourmet Catering. Kristen and Joseph choose “Have I told you Lately” for their first dance and the party portion of the evening commenced. Joseph LOVES his cigars and brought his own personal humidor with him to share with their friends. Both bride and groom graduated from Texas A&M so of course they played the Aggie War Hymn. They also had special A&M etched toasting flutes! At the end of the evening Kristen and Joseph were sent off in a cloud of smoke (aka sparklers) in their sleek convertible mustang.
